Campo Viejo to launch pink fountain in London to promote new rosé

Campo Viejo will install a pop-up bar at London’s South Bank in celebration of the launch of its new rosé wine.

The brand will host a launch party featuring Spanish food, music, and two free glasses of wine for ticket holders on 15 August. The new bar will promote the brand’s new rosé wine which launched earlier this year.

The main feature however, will be a water fountain that will fire pink coloured water six metres high.

Lucy Bearman, brand director for Pernod Ricard UK, told Campaign Live the event as an attempt to “bring the sights, sound and most importantly the taste of Spain to everyone who attends!”

Guests who acquire the free tickets can enjoy street food from Jimmy Garcia and sessions of wine-tasting and food-pairing with Campo Viejo wine expert Maria Huete.

“As a wine, Campo Viejo brings people together and fuels the creation of lasting colourful moments and experiences, and our Campo Viejo Rosé fountain is the perfect setting for people to savour the moment, as we bring a splash of pink to the London skyline!”

The new rosé is made from 100% premium Grenache grapes with notes of cherry, blackberry, strawberry and rose petals. Pernod Ricard’s off-trade channel director Chris Shead described the rosé as having “intense flavours, a magnificent mouthfeel and a long finish”.
